The biggest myth I have heard on this forum, regarding Australia vs. India test is...?

I asked few days back as to who is likely to win the Australia vs. India test. An overwhelming number of answerers said India.

So after that i said, that it is very unlikely India will win because the past record of India in Australia is too weak.

But numerous answerers said,

"Past record is not an indicator of how India will perform in Australia"

This has been the BIGGEST MYTH i have heard on this forum.

Past record is everything! When the past record shows that overall a certain team is much stronger, then the probability of win also favors that side...that is basic statistics.

How can anyone fail to recognize the validity of past performance stats?

Yea don't worry about it. A lot of illiterate/unable to type properly Indians come on here and start ranting about "AUSZIEZ CHEAT U NO!!!!! WUT LOSERS INDA WIL ALWUZ BEAT DEM BUT DEM AUSEIS THEY TAKE DRUGS U NO". I guess it's just jealousy that India isn't even good at a sport like cricket which they pool all their resources into, and still get thrashed by a nation of 20 million. Then, the Indian fans always keep bringing back up the "O INDIA WUN 20-20!!", because that's all that India has done in the last 10 years so they have to keep bringing that back up. I understand your pain, obviously Australians will beat India 99.99999999999% of the time, as statistics show. It's ridiculous how much in denial some of these Indian fans are lol. You look like you know what you're talking about though :)

i recall your memory to 2001 India tour, when Mcgrath and Gillespie bowled for 90 overs and were scratching their head for full day. Ponting looked like a dumb sitting duck in front of Harbhazan and India ****** Aussies 2-1 in that series.

i again recall your memory to 2004 in Australia, when India was going to win the series in Australia but umpire Hair saved Waugh some respect to retire with the series result of 1-1 draw.

Why don't you remember that this match has been won by Billy Bowden for Australia and i didn't find anything special from Australians as Aussies vowed that India can't take even 5 wickets on the test match, India took 20 wickets in the first innings instead of 10 due to racist billy bowden.

You may not know this but Don never dies is in fact "OZ" a very racist individual who soon will probably get reported again for his rants, innuendos and racist taunts.

It's funny how the Indians bring up the past results that favour their point of view but not the results that favour Australia, they're always bringing up the mickey mouse 20/20 result but fail to mention Australia's last 3 world cup wins or the fact Australia ia number 1 in test cricket by a country mile.
